Terms & Conditions;
- The usual hire period lasts 3 days (minimum stay two nights) during which time the couple have exclusive use of the venue. One day in advance, one day for the event and one day for the removal of hire items, etc.
- The Fir Hill does not have a wedding licence and is purely a venue for a celebration.
- The couple may select a caterer from our list of caterers who supply suitable food options or alternatively self cater (this option is only likely to work well for smaller weddings).
- The Fir Hill has a licence to serve alcohol. Couples may supply their own alcoholic beverages but we charge corkage of £5 per wine bottle and £2 per beer bottle. Wine boxes and barrels/ casks of beer are exempt from corkage and plastic cups are available free of charge. We also allow the first 12 bottles of wine / champagne / prosecco free of corkage.
- Couples have the option to hire the accommodation provided at the Fir Hill. Real Glamping provides 13 Yurts – 8 x Large Yurts sleeping 3-6 in three double beds and 5 x Medium Yurts sleeping 1-4 in two double beds.
Large Yurts have 2 double beds and 1 King Size bed. Medium Yurts have two double beds. Minimum stay is 2 nights. Longer stays are also possible depending on availability. As the venue is offered exclusively only the couples’ guests can stay during the 3 days of the venue hire. Additional accommodation can be arranged (bell tents etc…) and also guest pitched camping (i.e. guests bring their own tents etc…). - Other suppliers (wedding decorators, magicians, musicians, comedians etc…) are available on request. However it should be noted that the site venue has limitations caused by being entirely off-grid which limits some of these ‘extra’ activities, and therefore those couples wishing to supplement their event with such activities should consult The Fir Hill in advance.
- Only natural confetti can be used. See preferred confetti suppliers.
- Parking is provided to wedding guests with capacity for a minimum of 60 cars.
